Living at Emmanuel
As part of the Emmanuel community, you can take advantage of everything that we offer, from your college room and our award–winning catering, to the range of pastoral support that the unique nature of a Cambridge college can offer you. You can find below information about accommodation during your time with us, the catering we provide, our welfare resources, and other facilities you can take advantage of.
Accommodation
We provide all our undergraduate students with accommodation throughout their time at Cambridge, and all our postgraduates are usually offered accommodation for their first year. Clinical and Veterinary Medicine students can normally be housed for the duration of their course. We have over 400 undergraduate rooms on the College site, and 120 postgraduate rooms either on–site or around Cambridge. Emmanuel students usually live in college for a week before Term starts, and one after the Term ends.

Catering
Across the week, the cafeteria provides self–service breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner in the bright and elegant Georgian Hall. Our café in Chapman's Garden, Fiona's, is open 0900–1500 daily for hot and cold drinks, pastries, and cakes.

Music
Our students can take advantage of many musical resources at Emmanuel, and the Emmanuel College Music Society (ECMS) is one of Cambridge's largest and most active. There are many different ensembles, bands, and choirs to join, and many members of the Chapel Choir are part of the ECMS. We can offer a range of rooms for music practice, as well as some instruments.

Sport
You can enjoy camaraderie with your fellow students and take some downtime from your academic studies by playing in Emmanuel sports teams. Our student–run teams take part in inter–collegiate sport competitions, play in regular friendlies and some members are part of the University ‘Blues’ squads, which compete at a national student level.
